Welcome to A Pierce of Life
Four friends. One bench. A thousand tiny sparks.
We are QL, Olive, Jinz, and Nic — four girls, eight ears, and more than 30 piercings between us. We don't just design flatback earrings. We wear them, sleep in them, stack them, and test every single length on our own cartilage, lobes, and traguses.
For years, we worked separately in the jewelry industry. Designing for others. Polishing other people's dreams. But we kept asking: What if we built something of our own?
So we did.
A Pierce of Life was born in a small studio with one workbench, a single magnifying lamp, and four pairs of hands. No investors. No big launch. Just us, our tools, and a promise to make earrings that feel like they belong — not just on your ear, but in your life.
Who we are
QL – The perfectionist. She checks every flatback thread, every polish line. If it's not smooth, it doesn't leave the bench. (Piercing count: 6)
Olive – The dreamer. She sketches the curves, the hearts, the tiny chains that sway. She believes jewelry should move the way you do. (Piercing count: 10)
Jinz – The materials expert. She sources the 925 silver, tests every batch for nickel, and makes sure our 18k gold plating lasts. Sensitive skin? She's already thought of it. (Piercing count: 10)
Nic – The storyteller. She writes the words you're reading now, packs every box, and still stops to admire how light hits a moissanite stone. (Piercing count: 6)
We test every post length (5mm, 6mm, 8mm) on ourselves before you ever see it. If it doesn't sleep well, we don't sell it.
We are not a faceless brand. We are four girls who show up every day, file our own metals, thread our own posts, and stand behind every single earring that leaves our studio.
Our name: A Pierce of Life
It's a small wordplay — piece becomes pierce. Because every piercing is a tiny decision to make space for something beautiful. And every piece we make is meant to become a small, lasting part of your story.
We are alike in so many ways — you and us. But the subtle differences? That thin slice of individuality? That's where the magic lives.
